Strictly Come Dancing’s FitSteps for ALL ages and Abilities

This fun packed class has been deisgned by Strictly’s Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite. Take the dances and songs from Strictly, forget about having a partner to dance with, and enjoy an easy to follow trip around your very own ballroom in your local village hall.  This class helps build confidence, burn calories and boosts cardiovasular and motor fitness.  And most importantly it’s a little escape from day to life into the magic and sparkle of Strictly! who doesn’t need that in their lives?

At different times of year there are classes running for the following groups (check the timetable to find out if there is one running for you this term) 

Mini FitSteppers – Kids age 5 to 12 years

FitSteps FAB (For All Bodies) – suitable for the older active community

FitSteps and FitSteps Extreme – suitable for the rest of us!


My yoga classes are evolving, to address our fundamental foundations for movement.  Taking the Egoscue Method of Health through Motion we start our pratice with realignmement exercsies before we strengthen and stretch.  This newly developed class has been born out of my own frustrations with injurys and niggles (see full story in About Me).  I want to share this highly effective postural alignment class to help you address aches and pains, boost physical and sporting performance, minimise injury and set the foundations for all the physical and day to day activities you enjoy.  I am enrolled with Egoscue Institute and am training to become a Postural Alignment Specialist.


My aim with yoga is always to de-mystify and offer a practice which is relevant to our 21st Century minds and bodies. POSTITIVE POSTURE offers the opportunity for this and supports all physical pursuits such as Climbing, Yoga, Running, Cycling, Walking, Gardening, Dance, Golf, Swimming etc

With a positive appraoch and reminders of what’s important delivered through a positive relaxation at the end of the class your mental health is restored and your whole body is balanced.

Feel Good Fitness

My own blend of everything I know that keeps us well rounded in our fitness and health.

Cardio exercise through fun dance moves, strength and toning exercises to boost metabolism and keep our bones healthy, a little Piloxing and Zumba thrown into the mix and you have a fun filled hour giving you everything you need to help you feel great and look good. Add to that a super boost of motivation, positivity and friendship and your week is sorted. It’s for everyone! KIDS YOGA & Mindfulness

Suitable for primary and junior aged boys & girls this class is a joyful mix of games, movement and reflection – helping children feel stong under times of pressure, confident in themselves and  have a healthy and loving relationship with their bodies …… and lots more. PLEASE BOOK AHEAD and bring a mat if you have one (I have spares).

Yoga helps kids to:

  • Develop body awareness
  • Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way
  • Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement
  • Build concentration
  • Increase their confidence and positive self-image
  • Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group
  • Have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices

Gentle YOGA class

Designed to keep the vibrant active older community fit and moving well for longer. Members of the marchesi pay £5 for 1hr/non-members pay £6 for 1 hour.  NO NEED TO BOOK bring a mat if you have one (I have spares).
