Happy holidays everyone!
Just a quick reminder that there will be no classes this week (commencing 22nd October).
Don’t worry, I’ll be back on the 29th October. Full class details here.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
I have had a number of enquiries about yoga and pregnancy this week – have a read – not just applicable to Yoga x
Starting Friday 5th October our GIRLpower – mindfullness and Yoga class will change to include boys and girls. Suitable for primary and junior aged children this class is a joyful mix of games, movement and reflection – helping children feel stong under times of pressure, confident in themselves and have a healthy and loving relationship with their bodies …… and lots more.
4.45pm til 5.30pm at the lovely National Trust Footprint Building Windermere
I use yoga and mindfulness as a framework and we create as a group from here… ALL first classes are FREE – so you can give it a try – if your child doesn’t enjoy it – thats fine – and if they do that’s fine too!
After that if you want to continue you can pay as you go £3.50 per class or buy a pass which has 6 classes on it £18 (£3 per class) use whenever/however you like! No blocks/terms etc x
Children deal with many distractions, temptations, overstimulation and peer pressure. Schools are challenged to do more with less and be creative in how they reach even the most isolated child.
Yoga is a low-cost, helpful tool that can have a positive impact on children.
Here are some of the many benefits of yoga for kids:
Yoga helps kids to:
- Develop body awareness
- Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way
- Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement
- Build concentration
- Increase their confidence and positive self-image
- Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group
- Have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices
Fridays 4.45pm til 5pm at the National Trust Footprint Building Windermere x book ahead
